Beyond the soil: 4 reasons why you can trust Meraki with your ceramic purchases

Buying handmade ceramics online, especially from the other side of the world, requires a great deal of trust. We understand this. Here’s how we strive to earn your trust.

Greetings from Xi’an Studio in China!

At Meraki, we fully understand how much courage it takes to click “Add to Cart” on a newly discovered website. This feeling is even stronger when the product is a handmade work of art, fragile, and will become part of your daily life.

How do I know the actual product will look the same as the picture? What if it breaks during shipping? Is this a legitimate company?

These are all very reasonable questions. Today, we want to communicate with you sincerely (through the screen!) and address every concern. Your trust is not something we deserve; it is something we must earn through our efforts. Here’s what we do every day to earn it.

1. Ultimate Transparency: Witness the Creation Process Firsthand

We believe the magic lies in the process. That’s why we don’t just show you the finished product.

· Behind-the-scenes footage: On our [Instagram] and [YouTube] channels, we regularly share videos of the creation process on the potter’s wheel, glazing, and firing in the kiln.

· Process photos: Every product page on our website includes multi-angle detail images, often accompanied by photos of the creation process. We want you to see the texture, feel, and the warm hands behind it all.

When you purchase from us, you receive not just a cup, but a story you can see with your own eyes.

2. Unboxing Experience: A Promise, Delivered with Peace of Mind

We understand the anxiety of waiting for a fragile package. We have elevated packaging from a simple process to a solid safeguard of our commitment.

· “Fortress-Level” Packaging: Each piece is first wrapped in soft foam, securely placed in a molded paper tray, then enclosed in a sturdy double-walled corrugated cardboard box with an additional layer of bubble wrap. We guarantee its safety.

· Our Commitment: Meraki’s Damage Replacement Guarantee. If your item is damaged during transit, we will immediately and unconditionally send you a new replacement.

3. Secure Payment and Trusted Payment Channels

Your financial security is our top priority. Our website uses SSL encryption (please check the lock icon in your browser’s address bar!). We offer payment options through PayPal and Stripe, the two most trusted payment processing platforms globally. This means your financial data is never stored on our servers, and your transactions are protected by their robust buyer protection policies.

4. Our “human-to-human” customer service commitment

Your cup wasn’t made by a robot, and the person responding to your email won’t be a robot either. Have questions about clay types? Need size recommendations? Want a custom order?

A real member of our team will respond to your email sent to [amymerakic@gmail.com] within 24 hours. We’re here to help, not just to sell.

We are a group of passionate, craft-focused individuals. Your support directly fuels this passion, enabling us to continue creating.
